São Paulo hosted in November the SPIN Summit Brazil 2018, one of the main events intended to increase flow of investments in technology and innovation within the country and abroad. It received over two thousand people and 60+ leaders (each of their respective fields) in panels about several pressing topics on HOW TO NAVIGATE IN A WORLD IN TRANSITION.

Jorge Dib, managing director of ROI Latam, participated in the panel Entrepeneurship, Leadership and Culture. Along with Laura Mello, partner at Astella Investimentos, Guilherme Maciel, partner at Amrop 2Get and Maria Rita Spina, executive director at Anjos do Brasil they discussed how these three facets can determine a company success.

Mr. Dib, also an active startup investor and board member, argued that culture takes shape in a matter of weeks in today fast paced business environment. So it is critical for founders to define what the company stands for in the beginning. That will play another critical role which is to attract the right kind of people to help build the company.
